Can Mercedes Benz cars be dipped for red diesel?

Someone who shall remain nameless told me that Mercedes cars cant be dipped...which Im rather skeptical about. The dippers are over in NI here at the min so I was just wondering as a lot of people around here use it! Also how many refills of clear would it take to clear the red? Just in case you are wondering Im on clear diesel thankfully.lol
