I am a pretty good cook for a guy. I have fried different things in a pan with the rinse-it-in-water, pat it, then plain flour, plain corn meal, Bisquick, different cajun batter mixes, etc. I've done all the same with eggs, milk, eggs and milk mixes, etc.. I bought a nice deep-fat frier with a sensitive adj. temp switch. I want the recipe for the onion rings and mushrooms that have the crispy outside, a little bready, but fluffy inside, like an 1/8" fluffy coating, you know. I can get a tasty, but thin, or missing in spots,flat, crust that also falls off often, not like the restaurants or even, FROZEN, which are nasty otherwise. Corn breading is fine with me, if it is a nice crust like I said. I love a steak, with deep-fried Onion rings and mushrooms occasionally, but my deep frying is not that great. Corn meal, spicy, whatever is fine. Thanks

What is wrong with being unsatisfied with being a mother?

In one of my previous questions some people seemed to take offence at what I said. Is it common for people to think you have a bad attitude because you are looking forward to your kids going to school so that you can have a life outside them? I am confused as to why mothers are supposed to be overjoyed to spend every day with their children? I LOVE my daughter to pieces but being at home doing housework and watching TV is BORING when you do it every single day (for me at least). okay so my bestfriend was going out with this guy about a month ago who isnt a very nice guy. He was in a gang, and im guessing he still is. He gets drunk every weekend, has a gun, does every kind of drug (pretty much). She had tryed drugs and get drunk now... all because of her boyfriend. I just miss my friend from the starting of grade 9. I no everybody changes and things change, but im just looking out for her and i dont want her to become what he is. She knew he was going to ask her out so she asked us if we thought it was okay, but we are her friends we cant really say no. So we said it was her decision but we didnt want to be in her life if she was going to be continuing what she has been doing. hello i am 21 yrs old and have been tryin to conceive for over 2 yrs now in july 2008 i saw a doc n was sent to to several tests i got a HSG test done which showed both of my tubes were blocked all other test were good, so in dec 2008 i decided 2 do anther hsg test being the 1st 1 could have unblocked my tubes to my surprise it did i thought i was clear to become pregnant but i still didnt month after month so i thought i wasnt ovulation so i used an ovulation predictor and after about 11 test i believe i got a positive last month but this month(oct 2009) my period came a week early and unlike the normal 5 to 6 days it has lasted 16 days and now im concerned i took a pregnancy test on the 16th day and it was negative i am wondering was could cause this per-longed bleeding could it have been a miscarriage,fibroids, my tubes are blocked again or something else i should be concerned about???? How do you convert a 120v outlet into a 240v outlet?

I am setting up a pottery studio in a detached garage and need a 240v outlet for a kiln. The garage has 4 120v outlets that are all wired to the same breaker. I cannot add any breakers without having to run another power line and would like to avoid this. Is it possible to combine two 120v outlets to make one 240v outlet? Can this be done even if both outlets are connected to the same 120v breaker? There is also another breaker for the lighting if that helps. A few months ago I got very drunk and someone attempted to sleep with me. I am not completely blameless although I did eventually say no, I stopped them mid action. I feel unbelieveable guilt. I think the best beach is Hat Khom, on the north side of the island. The Hat Khom resort is there and also the coconut beach bungalows (www.coconutbeach-bungalows.com). There is nice snorkeling in the area and the staff at both places are very friendly and accommodating. Most people i met there had ended up staying longer than they anticipated. Hat Rin is where all the action is, so if you want lots of travelers and bars, go there. Hat Yuan, Hat Thian Nai, and Hat Wai Nam are three beaches that you can reach only by boat from Hat Rin. All three are connected by a foot path over some hills. Hat Yuan is the most developed of the three and Wai Nam the least. There is a hippie-ish place on Hat Thian called The Sanctuary www.thesanctuary-kpg.com (overpriced if you ask me). The surf can get a little rough at all three beaches and they are a bit rocky, not the best for swimming or snorkelling. I have also heard that there are some areas on the Northwest corner that have good snorkeling.

Alright well over this last year ever since 2010 started i noticed this unfamiliar change between us and we started growing apart and when we hung out i thought it was fine at first but it really just wasn't the same as it used to be. I understand friends and people change and grow apart its natural. So we were really really good friends though. We'd been friends forever. Until one day she just decided that she was moving on and we can't be friends anymore. Our friendship was always on her terms, whatever she wanted to do you know? But i stuck with it through the good and bad and i was there for her and we were a great team. We'd always send each other emails go on trips and pretty much do anything together. And her family was so great to me, they all loved me. Her mom was so generous. And to be honest at first i was pretty mad that she just left me in the dust because she transferred to a diff. school and met new friends but we still live in the same house and in the same town. Okay so here's the thing, i miss her now a lot and ive done stuff with other friends gone on vacations over my summer, kept myself busy. But i still really really miss her. And how do i know if she misses me just as much or not? I see on her facebook page she's out there being busy with lots of her friends too and im happy shes enjoying herself but i just cant do this i mean there are times where i really miss what we had. I didn't want us to leave our friendship alone. So im kind of thinking about sending her a really really short message, u know one that just says 'Hi.' It's really just as easy from either one. O'Hare has the blue line and Midway has the orange line they will both take you downtown. The orange line coming from Midway only has 8 or 9 stops, the blue line coming from O'Hare to downtown has about 15 stops along the way. Midway would be the easier to navigate, O'Hare is just huge and Midway is also less busy.

Question about SP Studio Systems Excalibur 3200 monolights?

I can't get them to fire with the test on or the sync. It makes a little noise when its triggered but it won't fire. It wants to fire when I turn the unit on some of the time, so I know the strobe bulb is fine. I checked the fuses which are also in tact. I caught a mouse, but is it in shock?

My dad has been putting out traps that kill the mice, so I got our live catch mousetrap out so I could catch them first. The first night, the cheese I put in there was gone, the trap was closed, but there was no mouse (these mice are smart. They actually stole one of my dad's traps). I forgot to check this morning, so I checked when I came home almost an hour ago. The trap felt heavier, and there was a puddle of liquid (urine) under the trap. I shook the trap a bit (really gently) to see if something moved. Eventually, I felt it move, so I took it across the street to the woods. It took about a minute (with me shaking the trap a bit) for the mouse to get out of the trap. When it got out, it was soaked thoroughly with its own urine, and it couldn't walk well. It was fully extending it's legs one or two at a time, and kept flipping itself over. Then it would stop and be still for a while. I gently prodded it with a twig to get it to move again, but it just kept doing that weird rolling thing. It's eyes are closed a lot of the time, too. It's kinda cold outside, and I wasn't sure if there was enough food in the woods for it (I heard something about there being no acorns this year?), and it was starting to rain. I figured a mouse that was already soaked in urine shouldn't be out in the cold rain away from its den (in our house), so I used a twig to push it back into the trap so I could carry it home. It barely resisted at all, and I got it halfway into the trap, on its back. It didn't move at all as I carried it home. I put it in a shoebox with some peanuter, some bird food, and a paper towel for bedding (or to dry itself off), but other than the occasional waddling and rolling around (which has only happened once or twice, and has resulted in it lying on a pile of bird food with its foot in peanuter, it just lays there with its eyes closed. I don't see any injuries. Is it in shock or sick? When I let it go, will it be fine in the woods without a den to go to already made for winter? How far away do I have to release it to make sure it doesn't come back to my house?

Now I am with you I have my four year old and 14 month old in day care and they have been there since they were babies. it is important that the whole staff is CPR certified for infants there is a difference, and the ratio children per adult is important. also what I really like about my daycare they have no TVs in the children's area so they are being stimulated other ways. The only time they see TV is twice a week they have show and tell of course for my older child and then they vote on a movie and watch it. they also give the parents a list of movies that we can say if we approve or not i never had to say no to a movie and they also have parent meetings and I love going and I volunteer twice a month I wish it was more but hey they are in daycare because I have to work. Military wives, whats life like for you when your husband is gone?

Do you think the base/post/camp actually care's about you or anything that happens to you while your husband is gone? I just wonder because my husband's last base was really good about being there for the wives, calling and checking on them etc. But the base we are at now doesnt care at all, no matter what happens, they will either tell you to call someone else, or just wont return your call at all. A few years back I got really sick while my husband was deployed. I was in the hospital and then released, But I was still sick/very weak. I had to have prescriptions filled etc.. Nobody would help, nobody in my husband's squadron, etc. And I live on the base!!! I couldnt call any of my friends, cause I couldnt go to the gate to sign them on. Denied disability increase with the VA?

My husband is 30 yrs old and he has had 2 back surgery's since 2002. He recently put in for an increase in compensation and was denied. He is now at 50% and and the doctors say that he is not going to get any better. He has degenerative disc disease, loss of feeling in lower extremities, ruptured disc, and nerve damage in back and legs. He has broke both of his legs due to not being able to feel the ground that he is stepping on. In doctors notes it states that his pain in his legs are gone and he feels better. But that is not true, he statement to the doctor was he feels better since the surgery because it did relieve some pain but not all the pain. The doctor states in the older notes that he needs multi-disc replacement but that is not possible because of the FDA not approving it. They are wanting to see him and the letter states that since the doctor has shown them that his condition is improving he may need to be knocked down from 50%. He is unable to work everyday and has a hard time motivating himself to do anything. We have 3 children and he is unable to get down in the floor and play or even play with them outside. Please if you have any information on how to deal with VA let me know. We need help.

Am i overworking my body ?

If you do all of that every day, then you're way over doing it. If that's how many a week, then maybe add a little more on there. But if you think that your body can handle it without getting damaged, then it's fine. You also need to eat healthy if you want to loose weight faster. Because whatever you work off, you just gain back if you eat unhealthy. If you get too tired, or you feel sick in any way, slow it down and reduce the amount of excersize. Do what's best for your body, not what you *want* to do to it.

im not sure on the exchange rate but i know 300 isnt much. your best bet would be to piece it together and buy quality stuff one thing at a time. when you get a stereo you will also need a dash kit and a wire harness. yes it will run your normal speakers in the car already. as for an amplifier for the subwoofers, it has its own power/ground wires powering it. remote wire comes from the head unit and you use rca jacks for the sound. idk what they offer in your area but i have never had an issue with kenwoods. sony are more for walmart, pioneer have bad motor noise over time, alpine are too hard to use the built in eq's and well, eclipse are turning into sony. your prices depends on what you are wanting as well. you want mp3 player? i pod control? etc etc... its a can of worms man. if your not sure, go to a local shop and dont be scared to ask.

Not really sure what a RED TEK kit is , but if it has anything that says "sealer" on the can , dont use it. If you had to release all the r-134 out of the system , you should have it service by a professional. Ive had prety good luck with refilling 134 systems with the kits that have the lubricant can without any sealer and straight r-134. Flushing out the a/c system is normally only required if it had a catostrophic failure like the compressor failing.

Oh yeah, I can't move as fast or twist around quickly without feeling it sometimes. I have hurt my back a few times doing so many things that at your age could do without a problem. The only advise I can give you is to stay limber by stretching, exercise, good eating habits and watching where and what you are doing. Be sensible with your work outs, never go outside with out sunblock. ( they didn't have it when I was a kid and I have had skin cancer 3 times. I doesn't take a severe burn either) and go lightly on the alcohol. In a nutshell, use common sense. Best wishes.

I think it depends on what you want to do and what your playing style is i like to use 4 of my cles as a one man army combo i use a silenced acr with one man army stopping power and ninja i use stopping power to get me 5 kills when i get to five i switch to my hardline cl because then i only need one more kill to get my harriers my hardline cl is m4a1 silenced then when i get to 10 kills switch to a danger close cl to make my chopper gunner more powerful and then i usually get nukes and all i have to do is get the harriers really so thats what i do

Will paying off my credit card debt with a new card hurt my chances to get a mortgage?

Im trying to get a mortgage for a home right now. I have spoken to a lender and he was very frank that i needed to pay off my debt to about 33% of my limit to increase my score for a loan. He said he was confident that if I could do this that i would be looking pretty good at getting a mortgage. The thing is, that everything needs to move very fast before this recent repo goes into collections (it was a personal loan for my motorcycle as collateral). Once that happens I will not be able to get a mortgage. I have about $3600 in credit card debt and my student loan is at about 3,600 of 5,000 which is also a factor. My card utilization right now is at about 55%. I was wondering if I could get another card to pay off my other cards because I cant come up with that much money on the spot. Camping food suggestions?

Going camping with friends and am stumped as to what to cook. We have already decided to cook spaghetti carbonara and have a bbq but need some suggestions for the other nights/lunches. Would I need to replace the brake shoes on a VERY old motorcycle?

I've got an old Honda PC50 moped (1976) which has only been driven around 5250 miles and hasn't been driven since 1992. I haven't got her started yet, as I'm waiting for the spark plug removal tool to come in the post so I can sort her out, but I have noticed that when I apply the brakes, there seems to be NO effect whatsoever, unless I press them EXTREMELY hard. Anyway, I don't know anything about motorcycle brakes, but since they're drum brakes I imagine they work the same way as the brakes on an 1930's tandem bicycle I have... Which still has the original brake shoes, working perfectly.. I was wondering if I would probably be able to make these brakes safe again with a bit of adjusting, or would you say that time has rendered the shoes unsafe? What exactly are they made of, anyway? Anything that decays?
