Hes suddenly being rather affectionate, bad sign? ?

Okay, been with my guy for a year and a half-ish and we live together. Dont get me wrong, he is a wonderful man and I love him to bits. Lately, he seems to be a bit more affectionate than normal (we dont really get all lovey dovey on each other often). Like, this morning he didnt want me to get out of the bed to go to work, he just wanted to cuddle..hahaha. Could this possibly be construed as a bad sign (ie, feeling guilty for something) or am I just being paranoid? Thanks!
